So, it's been a while since I've drawn anything in the fantasy genre, but I was inspired to draw this, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Nothing like a mage to teach you to be quiet in a library. XD In case anyone was wondering (since this is the third submission I've done of this character), this is actually an old fursona that I used to identify as, back when I lurked FA before I actually joined. While it may not be my identifying fursona anymore, I still really enjoy drawing the character when I want something fantasy-feeling.
My main goals with this drawing (besides doing something fantasy genre) was to mess around with perspective and continue working on backgrounds.

Mwahahaha You lost your place pal... Mwahaha!! Just kidding ^^ It's not a race. The thing that matters is that Melos is improving a lot! Now I understood why you were taking so long on that drawing... OMG! The perspective is really amazing! ^^ Such as the shadows... the coloring... Everything! You are doing a great job Melos ^^ Keep that way! I miss talking with you ^^
This is a wonderful piece! The attention to detail really paid off. I love all the texturing work and your efforts with the background really adds to the picture's atmosphere. :3
The skewed viewing angle gives it an interesting look too. All in all, I'd say this was a pretty big success. :D
