Characters: Nathan/The Scientist and Dan/The Were-Aykroyd.
dead/and the afterlife.
Nationality: American as himself but Canadian as the Were-Aykroyd..
Played By: Dan Aykroyd.
Ethnicity: Caucassian but also mostly Aykroydian when he is ransformed.
Perks: Hypnotic powers, Aykroydian charm, insatiable love of the paranormal, a trustworthy friend.
Special Powers: Superhuman strength, dream manipulation, can possess people and can also transform people into Were-Aykroyds including ones that all Aykroyd characters with his powers.
Appearance (as Nathan): 5'7, has a pale complexion (but isn't undead looking by any means) and long brown hair, has a scar on the side of his neck from a surgical operation, he wears a dark red or black shirt with jeans with an insignia on the front that resembles a spider or a fanged smile which alludes to his career as a monster-maker/make-up artist, his 'killer mask' as the 'The Scientist' is skull/Grim Reaper themed.
Appearance (as the Were-Aykroyd): He stands at around 6'1, bulky/burly with dark brown hairs on his chest, hands, stomach and his arms...is very much a supernaturally powered Dan Aykroyd, sometimes sports wavier hair than normal or longer fingernails (not exactly claws, but they were an artistic choice of his and are quite useful in battle). He is what some people would call 'dummy thicc'.
Realm: Valkenvania (J.P/The Judge's area), Oakendale (specifically the dark forest area or the city), and numerous others including the laboratory.
Personality (as Nathan): Socially awkward and shy, genuinely sort of a weirdo and outcast but a good-natured one who will often act skittish and nervous during night-time missions, he means well though and he gets along with Ash Williams and Laurie Strode as well as Dwight who he considers to be his best friend.
Personality (as the Were-Aykroyd): Calculating and crafty, with a brilliant mind which is useful for conceiving plans, he is a skilled manipulator and a master at finding ways to make the challenges the survivors face in his trials more trickier, but he is very protective of 'Nathan/The Scientist' and knows all of the rules of horror and how to bend them/warp them to suit him, he is also highly intelligent and knows how stupid typical slasher victims tend to be.
Traits: Throughout the chapter, Nathan will act nervous whenever he feels like he's about to transform into him and he will attempt to hide his transformations into him from the others and he will be reluctant to help out the survivors even though the survivors think of Nathan as someone who can help, because he knows that his 'Were-Aykroyd' side could take over and attempt to turn him against them. Also Nathan keeps numerous video and audio diaries which have him talking to himself, recalling the bizzare 'visions' he has of his alter-ego, it seems that these are from the previous nights.
Motif: Dreams/visions.
Costume 1: He usually appears as how Nathan looks in his regular outfit, except the shirt or top part of his attire may be a little bit torn or sometimes his clothing reflects the Aykroyd character he assumes the form of in dreams.
Costume 2: He wears Western styled boots, a blue denim attire and sports long hair and longer fingernails. This long haired look is based on the character 'Bob' from the television show 'Twin Peaks'.
Weapon: His hypnotic powers, inhuman strength, Aykroydian blood serum (a serum that can be used to create more Aykroyds).
Mori: He uses his ability to manipulate dreams to give survivors and victims dreams of trying to find him and trying to figure out his plans, only for him to manipulate them further, eventually making it so they want to be with him, more than just...but become like him, thus when they wake up they will start to hear his voice in their minds, as it begins to condition them and entrance them. And once under his influence, they start taking on Aykroydian traits, at first the transformation appears to be one they can hold back, but will grow stronger over time. He has also a mori/killing move where he kissess or hugs them and hypnotizes them, making them his thrall as he gets ready to turn them.
Lore: Nathan/The Scientist was hired as the 'monster/killer' maker, who would create or send various monsters of his own creation out for the survivors to fight but it wasn't until last year when he began to develop his own persona, he developed this persona as a charismatic alter-ego known as the 'Were-Aykroyd' or 'Dan' as he was often called and dreamed of bringing the persona to life, but those dreams were courtesy of the persona himself who was already planning to do so. Which came to fruition once Nathan came into possession of shaped like a crystalized skull, feeling curious about what the ring, he put in on his finger and wondered what it could do, the ring transferred a powerful dark aura into him which began to tangle with his own aura and caused 'Dan' to possess and take over him, thus turning him into him in a gradual process with each and every night, he attempted to resist or even hide the changes from the others since the survivors viewed Nathan as a helper and companion who could provide assistance during the Aykroydian attacks, since he seemed to know a great deal on the subjects, even pinpointing the origin. But during most night-time missions, Nathan seemed to be absent or just hide himself because he feared that now that 'Dan' had possessed him, he would turn into that 'Were-Aykroyd' alter-ego, as he had been doing for the past several nights since discovering how Dan's powers and the ring's power brought that side of him out.
The others didn't think much of it but Ash, David and Felix seemed to think something was wrong when they saw his video diaries and listened to the audio diaries. Laurie goes to check up on Nathan and spots him arguing with what happens to be his reflection, but it's not his own reflection...it's Dan's. It seemed after waking up from the previous nights, he seemed to think of what he did as his 'Were-Aykroyd' self as a strange vision he had, only remembering that he transformed and that he had to tell the others he had to leave. Now, the other survivors have to be extra careful around him and given the rash of Aykroyd sightings, that could prove difficult.
