I don't do this often, but this one lent itself so well to it, I made a wallpaper outta it. This is a very large version, and the aspect ratio isn't perfect, but it fits my screen like a glove. Feel free to upload and alter it. . . do whatever you want with it. . . just don't distribute it for money, kay? ;)
This is cover art for my upcoming project, 'Red Lantern'. 'Red Lantern' will be a full-color comic, will likely have five or six installments, and will be released starting October 2010, right here on FA. I'm planning on building a blog or LJ community for it as well, to keep you all updated with conceptual artwork and previews.
The comic will be rated NC-17 for language, violence, and adult situations. The subject matter will be revealed as I start releasing it ;)
Haven't yet ironed out how much will be available online, or what if anything will be withheld for any printed release. In fact, I can't even confirm a printed release. Time shall tell.
For now, enjoy the wallpaper!

Thanks, you're saving me the trouble of having to make the wallpaper all by myself!
Just an opinion though: you could take the way
codyvfrost and
jodimest took. Their comics are available online in either a delayed (for I.S.O.) or a preliminary (for Fred Savage) schedule, and still they remain commercially viable options, people still buy them in printed form. I'm willing to bet the quality of your work would allow the same to happen in your case.

I don't know why this piece doesn't have more comments... but anyway... this is truly exquisite, exemplary work. The fur detail and lighting are particularly amazing, but what really draws me in is the eye... such depth and reflectiveness. Simply incredible, and I take my hat off to you. :X)
