Lighting here is real enough. One flash inside the upside-down blue vase. Another flash in my left paw while I held the camera in my right. The room itself had two point sources and a big soft warm base note, all arranged as carefully as the parts of the setup. Why yes, I'm quite probably O.C.D., why do you ask?

This is still a brushed together final though. I "developed" the RAW file a couple different times, going for slightly different effects. (I do this sometimes, even just as an exercise. Heck, I even make sure to have different music on for each version.) Then the final image is brushed together from those different versions.
