there was a litter born outside my workplace, we had saved 2 others last week, then my mom found this one last night and I volunteered to take care of it until today when the wildlife rescue place is open

I had a pet squirrel named Gin for a while. He was my favorite pet I have ever had and he loved to ride around in my shirt pocket.

Yeah, but you really aren't supposed to keep squirrels as pets. Gin took a seizure and died. We kinda needed to take care of him. Gin was too young to take care of himself and his parents were killed by a cat. The wildlife center said they would put him down if we took him in. They said they don't rehabilitate squirrels because they are considered vermin.

Yea, I know they aren't supposed to be kept, that's why he's going to the wildlife center to meet with his siblings that we found last week.

No, we think the mother is around somewhere, but he was found UNDER my moms tires, if she hadn't noticed his little tail peeking out before she got in the truck he would have been crushed, so she decided he needed to be someplace safer.

We took care of it for a day. It got to the point where if I put it in the box, it would yell at me until I picked him back up again.
