Exploring the inside of a long abandoned Atlas missile site. These are scattered about the western prairies and some can be accessed by curious adventurers. Don't let the lighting fool you, this place is extremely dark inside, like a man made cave. It's also dead quiet and very creepy. I was using a 3,000 lumen flashlight and a 300 lumen headlamp to find my way around inside.

There's more to see and I have plenty of photos, and there's quite a bit that I can share about this place. Someday, I'll have to provide a little virtual, historical tour of the site. This is a very interesting piece of Cold War history, right in my backyard.
