Well here is my new beater car i traded my 300,000+ miles civic for it about a month ago or so. Its a 1998 Chevrolet cavalier Z24 with 160,000 on and twin cam 2.4 liter. My friend gave it the nick name the Z after he rode in it and realized it was a lot faster than he thought lol
it does have a green fender and silver door on the other side and i am searching for a white door and fender for it.

When I saw the Z. I knew exactly what you were talking about. I care nothing for foreigns. Chevy makes the only Z's that matter to me. I always loved this car. I had the regular model 2001 with some ricey upgrades so I know from first hand experience. Photos in my scraps. It was a bad ass car so I know what you have with the Z. That car is deceptively awesome and underrated. Never ha a problem with it. The tuner kids have been either trying to buy or race me for my car for years. One of my fiends owns a Civic and he hates his car with a vengeance. I loved the Cavalier so much, I got a Cooo-Balt! More photos in my scraps.
I really don't have a problem with the foreign cars. Thier actually kind of cool. I just lean toward America because there's so much good stuff to choose from that there's ton of great old cars or something new that's awesome every year. I sort of did that to piss off all the people on this page that were all Kia! Kia! Kia! Nissan! Nissan! Nissan! If the people who owned it before you took good care of it, and I know you will take good care of it, I know that it will not give you any issues.
I really like your car, and it is a sweet ride! Despite the Chevrolet Cavalier's checkered history the Z series Cavaliers were always very nice, and I have always had good experiences with the Z24 Cavaliers. It would be cool if you could upload some pictures of your vehicle's interior.
Were you using the car as a racing car in light of your having had stripped down the interior? Well, in light of your having a Chevrolet Caprice which is very sporty I can understand why you would let the Z24 go.
Was the Z24 all right mechanically, or did you have a lot of issues with it?

No I was nto using it as a race car lol it had body damage that I was working on knocking out dents from the inside to save the paint, but it was a very fun car to drive
I had to put a starter motor on it and plugs and wires also the gas tank rusted out so had to put a new one of those in. But it was a very reliable car

I agree with you that Z24s were fun cars to drive, and it was too bad that the later generation Z24s looked so similar to their Cavalier siblings. I liked the older Z24s around the late 1980s/early 1990s which had unique body panels and colour schemes.
Did your Z24 have an upgraded interior in terms of a nicer sound system and seating than the standard Cavalier?
Wow, based upon what you have described above in terms of what you had changed in the car it sounds like the car was pretty all right.

Yeah I would love to find one of the old v6 z24s but most are pretty beat up around here
It had the black and red interior and it had a custom sound system in it all kenwood that I installed
Yeah it was a pretty good car but the motor was getting towards the end of its life when I sold it
