Most Drone-related art or stories fixate on the notion that a Drone should only ever be an obedient servant in-line with sub-dom relationships, which is good and fun. However, I much prefer the concept of a Drone being more than simply that. Perhaps an object, but more than the being that existed before.

Maybe the pursuit of depersonalization is less a desire to be seen as property, but the pursuit of a less-identifiable being.
