As some of you may recall, a good few years ago I had expressed an interest in getting something like a Vespa scooter for getting around. Well, I recently gave in to temptation and bought myself some wheels - though I decided to go electric instead.
I got an eBike. This is my AddMotor Motan M-70, and I've put about fifty miles on it so far. It's classified as a "Class 2 electric vehicle" so I can use it anywhere where a bicycle would be legal to ride.
Aluminum Alloy frame. Panasonic battery, 48v 750w hub motor in the back. Headlight, Turn signals, Tail light and brake lights. Horn, bell, digital display. Disc brakes. 5 Levels of Pedal assist while pedaling, also has a throttle so it can be powered along like a motorcycle up to 20MPH. (speed limited for legal reasons)
Handlebar bag is the iTablet by AXIOM. It was designed to fit an ipad but it has enough large pockets that I've been able to make use of it for food runs to the Wawa. I've also fitted a Foldylock bike lock which slots into a bracket in the accessory point on the front downtube.
All in all I've been pretty pleased with it. There was a bit of a kerfluffable about the neck on the bike when I first got it, as the neck they shipped me was of an inferior, cheaper design to the one shown in all their sales materials (and it didn't really fit or work), but I was able to get them to ship me a copy of the correct neck at no extra cost, and since I put that on it's been working great.
The one limiting factor on it is that I can't really use it when it rains, because the electrical plug sockets for the wiring aren't watertight. But really, I'd rather not ride a bike in the rain anyway.
Behind it in the photo is the Christiana River, as seen from Lewden Green Park, the closest thing to scenery we have around here.
I won't be going on any long trips on this, as it has a forty mile range on a full battery, but for zipping around locally it's pretty ideal.

Sorry for missing this question earlier. This one goes for around $1800.
Since I bought it tho, some newer bikes have hit the market that might be of better quality.
The SONDORS MadMods are around the same price, for example, but have a full suspension:

You should shop around a bit. Watch some youtube reviews.
