The argiope spiders are some of the most gorgeous, and their webs are impressive.
One morning years ago while delivering papers in Myrtle Beach, SC I nearly ran into an Argiope web that was between two trees that were about 18 feet apart! The spider herself was slightly smaller than my hand.
