If you're one of the brave who's gone through my entire gallery, it's no secret that Doberman Pinchsers are my favourite kind of doggo (bull terriers and cane corsos being the runner-ups). I can't explain why, but the combo of black n' tan n' pointy ears maybe? Like pitties, rotties and other guard dogs, they have a scary rap but the Internet can undo that! I drew this lineup back in... APRIL?!? (geez this backlog) of all the Dobie-types I've drawn so far:
1. Satch Weeontree: a former asparagus strainer salesman who found he had the power to remember the original human world, and used that knowledge to bring about the Good Boys cult, a canine supremacist group devoted to rebooting reality into a dog-nominated one. Unknown to the others, Satch really wished to resurrect the original human timeline to be reunited with his owner, who loved him unconditionally for being a runt. Delving into the dark arts to further his plans only made Satch more distant and cold towards the animals he recruited. He had hoped to use Knashford Shark's kidnapping to complete the timeline reset, (tempting him by being a fellow runt) only for little Ford to stand by his flawed parents and electrocute Satch to death in his efforts to escape.
2. Isaac Weeontree: Satch's only remaining child from the litter who stood by his father's world domination, loyal to a point that he killed and eat those he would consider 'prey' in a former life. While Issac had the loyalty of a faithful dog, even sitting and begging, other anthros would find that disturbing in a world without the concept of 'pets'. You could consider him the last true 'domesticated' in a world of animals no different than humans. Isaac is killed when Eurydice accidentally snaps his neck while rescuing Knashford.
3. Mozz Pinschmith: a 40-something single fan of the Fanged Fatales and co-worker to SJ the Kangaroo. Easygoing, if a tad obsessed with social links. While not exactly cougar-y, she does have trouble making friends with the younger crowd of the work. Because SJ is in the middle ground of that age group, Mozz latches on to the small connections they make tends to follow him home and get a little too close to his precious comic collection. SJ would be a bit more interested if she was a bit, ohh, heavier, but joke's on him, Mozz's kink for heavy boys runs deeper. Force-feed's a comin'!
4. Brimstone the Mega Houndoom: HA! Not exactly a Doberman but still similar! A slightly good girl Pokedog who got sent to hell instead on a contractual error and now works as a part-time Lava Pit Manager to get some schaudenfrere amusement until eternity finishes up. Her little skull necklace acts as her conscience, but being a skull, Brim can't take him seriously for something closely associated with death metal. Not sure if I'll do anymore with her since I'm not really OCs with licensed property connections, but who knows. Last solo pic was her being fattened to immobility, so I ought to undo her fate soon.
5. Sheebona : one of Knashford's schoolmates, and probably one of the few who actually tolerates him. Cheery, supportive, confident and dabbling in the punk lifestyle , she considers them to be a perfect match given their obsession with cult movies and Hollywood connections (her dad is a best boy). Unfortunately, Ford's encounter with the Weeontrees has given him a mild distrust of Dobermans. Can true love prevail? Maybe not, but a bribe-filled date to the cinema might help. Ironically, that's one more connection with Ford that Sheebona has: they think about permanent romances far too early for 11-year olds.
Phew! Longest description I've ever done, and that's shorter than others I've seen. Anyway, all characters © me and that's that. Hope you liked what you read!
