I have been playing in Closed Beta of Perpetuum for a couple of weeks now and it's been quite fun. Think EVE but with much finer control, and with robots on the ground. There's still a lot of work left to do on it, but the mechanics are <i>solid.</i>
I have been considering proposing a new unit since the unit selection is a little slim. Based loosely on the Bushwacker, the Weedeater takes only its basic body shape, a long, slender body with chicken-legs. Its mission profile is very much different, and with a fair number of slots, it can at least hold its own against units of equal size.
