Ona Shtick!
Tried a little experiment by taking a bunch of seeds from a store bought jalapeno. I didn't think they would actually sprout, but out of about 50 seeds, 3 sprouted! I have no idea what they will actually grow into though if they grow completely at all. The middle one looks like it mutated into something else, so I'm super curious to see what it turns into. Their growth has been pretty slow though, and they are at a critical point here as I just transferred them into individual pots. They might get shock and die in the next couple weeks, but I really hope not!

The first and third ones are definitely jalapeno plants. I don't know what the one in the middle is. They're most likely the other half of the hybrid, but I couldn't find exactly what online. It says online that store bought jalapenos are F1 hybrids, but I couldn't find what they are hybrids of. No peppers I could find have serrated leaves like that.
