Where is it? Dr. Braune thought to himself as he looked through another stack of papers, a chocolate donut hung from his mouth as he tried to not bite down too hard on it.
Frustration and annoyance were building, though what was worse was he was stressing about this one piece of paper. Of course, that wasn't a good thing for a normal pregnancy but in his case....it was even worse. Considering how stress seemed to active his mutation and cause him to concieve, which the kicking should've been a hint for him to slow down an try to clear his head. Alas, once Dr. Braune gets in that particuliar mindset....he rarely leaves it.
"You'renot eating sugar...are you?" a concerned voice asked as a assitant watched the 'infamous' doctor's stomach swell with a light rumble.
"maybe..." Dr. Braune retorted, his tone bitter as he just flicked through more pages.
Cravings were a pain and that day just happened to be donuts. Now he didn't remember how many he already had, just that he had one in his mouth and he still had four more to go; when in truth he had ordered a box of a dozen, thus with only the five left he already devoured seven of them. The assitant knew that sugar and stress didn't mix well with the mutation the good doctor was stuck with. Their large size and already movement being evident against their taut stomach meant that the other had overindulged in the sugar.
You know what a sugar rush is? Well think like that, only instead of you getting the sugar rush, it makes the mutation pick up in speed. Thus causing the development within Dr. Braune to get that boost in speed. Both men knew this but one was currently stuck in a state of frustration and indulging in cravings while the other, was quite scared of what would happen if he tried to snap the other out of it. Welp....they might be looking at a larger delivery today, unless their stomach would stop growing soon. but as the Assistant heard another gurgle and watched the good doctor merely tug on their shirt in the futile attempt to pull it down....there wasn't a chance of a simple delivery today.
Hey, so my day has been frustrastion incarnate. So have this!! It's not finished as I have no mental desire to but I did want to share Dr. Jameson Braune with ya'll. We can thank the kind Crispy_Writes for suggesting a lovely name and even helping me figure out how the good doctor's mutation of pregnancy works!! He (If I'm using the wrong pronouns please correct me) suggested the part about stress triggering it and that's a pretty good way to do it. As scientists are often stressed and this man is no exceptions, humans are stressed out beings lol
I had the idea for the sugar being a sort of accelerate to it. cause you can get a sugar rush when you eat too much sugar and your body goes into speed mode in a way. Well that's what happens to him, only the mutation registers it and it gets directed to the developing kids. Combine that with pregnancy cravings and stress, you could end up in a predicament lol

I don't think it works that way, but well perhaps on being him very energetic after the fast shot of raw-refined sugar charge and his offspring also does and grew even faster, then I guess birthing process will come into him sooner than what anyone could thought, but I hope and guess it might not be the case after all. It'll be very shocking and crude-cruel to have him going into labor for that.
To be fair, I'm not basing how it works in full real life facts because this was whole thing was caused by a mutation that doesn't turn off and it's also my character so I can certainly decide how it works an not works. It's something that works on it's own and if stress triggers his pregnancies to start, then making a sugar rush mainly affect only the offspring to make their development accelerate isn't that far of a stretch for him. Sure he could resist the cravings, but we're all guilty of giving into a craving due to stress or just fed up with the normal foods we've been eating at the time.
The babies stop growing eventually, and if he's had a lot to make a really long sugar rush then well he might just go into labor sooner than expected cause they can't grow any further after a certain stage.Regadless when labor does hit, he goes through a simple operation to get em out. The mutation allows for him to heal rather quickly too. So he's not miserable, a little inconvinced and he has some influence over his condition, but there's always the things that are needed for random chance; and random scenarios.

Considering how I never focus on the birth as that falls into nsfw territory, I don't feel like it's cheaper or cheating. I mean I have plenty of other characters that do deliver their young naturally or through some means. With Dr. Braune, he's still new to this mutation and the mutation didn't give the babies a natural way out. It's not a painless thing, he feels contractions but they have no exit. This drawing is him after he's gone through this several times before, the first time went really badly and the company/facility he works for has decided that surgery is a must not only for his health but also the children he has due to how often his pregnacies start.
Truthfully, the facility wants to get rid of the mutation. But since stress is ONE of the triggers, as is the sugar having a effect on it too, they don't have much of a window in order to get him back onto the table after healing up from deliver surgery to remove the mutation. So he still has it and goes through this.
I'm sorry he's not living up to any ideas or desires, I wanted to do something different so he wasn't like all the other characters I've done. I've got plenty who deliver through a natural means and don't do a surgery. Dr. Braune is just different.
