ive played Sonic Adventure before, i have the original Dreamcast ver so yeah i know that they made knuckles kind off dense XP

There was once a time when Knuckles was considered a badass; back in the good ol' days of G4, he was placed 7th on Filter's list of top 10 badasses. Then Sonic '06 reared its ugly head, and the reputations of every character was ruined. Isn't life weird?

I also have the DX ver on PC. the controls are so good i play it with a keyboard.

yeah Sonic 06' is just...ugh. the only part i like about that game is Silver, mostly because i like character with telekinetic powers. i just love chucking objects at robots and what not.

Is that so? Quite the opposite for me. I find Silver to be... well, for lack of a better term, unnecessary (like Big, the difference being I can somewhat tolerate Big). I can see how tossing random boxes or metal objects can be sorta fun, but unless Silver got an overhaul with his character, I wouldn't shed any tears if he was sent to the scrap pile to join characters such as (unfortunately) Fang the Sniper. But that's my opinion.

one of my fave games on PS2 is "Destroy all humans" its just fun to chuck a car at like a mech and take its legs out using only the power of your mind

What a grand game that was... Good times. What if Silver had the personality of Cryptosporidium 137? I think that would have made Silver a more likable character (if, at the least, a more popular character). I've toyed with the idea amongst myself that if Silver's character was more of a self-mockery/parody of himself (such as breaking the fourth wall, a la the show Chowder or the character Deadpool), he would be less annoying and, perhaps, more awesome. Of course, the chances of Silver having a character-overhaul are about as likely as TheSpoonyOne saying "Final Fantasy 8 was awesome!" Still, I can dream.

i think thats kind of the problem with sonic games in terms of like story and characters is that they all take it way to seriously. ive sort of had this idea that if i made a Sonic game i'd make it about Big the cat and it would be a fishing game. it would also have one of thous weird sonic plots to it but shown from Big's perspective so he wouldn't really care whats going on he would just be focused on fishing. I just think it would be funny to show a brief of like Sonic and the others doing the usual melodrama and then big just gets bored and wonders off to like look at fish or some thing so that they player never gets to see how the melodrama ends

Sonic stories have been too serious, I can definitely agree with that. One reason I'm excited about Colors is it doesn't follow a serious story, it's just about Sonic saving a world without a care in the...that. I think the reason behind the melodrama is several teenagers got into Sonic through Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, so they have this idea that Sonic always has to be serious, and the fans don't want to see him as a silly cartoon character. However, I got into Sonic through Sonic 2 and Adventures Of Sonic the Hedgehog, so I'm perfectly fine with the idea of seeing Sonic as this sort of Saturday morning hero. I truly hope for the best with Colors and we can see a change in the Sonic story trends. It's more than I can say for Sonic 4; I just can't really see myself getting excited for 4. I enjoy the old Genesis games (even though I think they are, at this point, overrated), but Sonic 4 seems to act too much like the old Genesis games; this is one of those cases where I believe you can have too much of a good thing. Although, Sonic 4 did get pirated, and the fans who pirated the game did leave some feedback, so it could be better than I think it will be.

i havnt played Sonic Unleashed yet, i played a demo of it but it only had a normal sonic stage no warehog stage which was dumb

I'm no hearing that theme son of Knuckles from Sonic Adventure 2 in my head. XD
