Three Simple Questions
This is a 'classic' Little Tales strip that I felt like sharing. A few years ago my friends and I sat down and came up with the ultimate personality test that consisted of three questions. Those questions are:
1. What do you like on your pizza?
2. Batman or Superman?
3. What do you consider the greatest music album of all time?
Now, if I were to go into the whys and hows of how this worked, it might affect your answers. But if you know personality types in certain people, you'll probably catch a lot of the same basic themes in someone's answers.
For example, we once asked a very waffly and somewhat freeloading friend of mine these questions, and he was waffly about his answers. For number one he said he'd eat whatever everyone else was eating. He could not pick between Batman or Superman at all. And refused to name a single album that he liked.
My answers are at the end of the comic.

1. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, garlic, and kalamata olives. Pesto is a nice addition, too.
2. Dale Cooper. Of every hero I met in fiction, it was Cooper who most deeply affected me. Batman's mind, Supe's heart. Yet, he fails in the end.
3. Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells. The 1973 raw and glorious original.

Heh, I'll give it a shot.
1) Cheese
2) I honestly cannot decide, even after pausing to deliberate. I grew up admiring Superman and still consider him a classic, but Batman appeals to the realist in me for how he uses intelligence and cunning to do the hero thing (and neat gadgets... and the Batmobile is awesome!)
3) This, unfortunately, is another I cannot decide on simply because I have too many favorites :p I like individual songs rather than entire albums. Having said that, the soundtrack to Halo 3: ODST and Celldweller's self-titled album have some terrific music...

1) Pineapple and ham, or else mildly spicy sausage
2) Superman is too perfect, Batman is too mean. I pick the 3rd Blue Beetle, Jaime Rayes (sp?) because he's a kid who got powers and told his parents about it. XD I mean, if I had a kid who got superpowers, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME, ya know? Plus he did a really cool time travel thing and was in 3 places at once, which was way cooler than making time go backwards by spinning the Earth backwards, which made NO SENSE.
3) Everything to Everyone, by the BareNaked Ladies. ^^ Did you hear Steve quit the band? I'm gonna miss that baritone voice!

Wow there are some awesome answers here.
1) Plain cheese, white (broccoli & ricotta), or pepper & onions. If all three toppings are available I'll grab at least once slice of each. Come to think of it, whenever there's a variety of food available I have to try one of everything, which has been making it very difficult for me to lose weight. And if I had to choose a meat topping, bbq chicken.
2) I guess Superman, because Batman's all dark and creepy, but I don't really care since I never got into either one much.
3) There's no way I could choose one if I tried. I'm constantly discovering new music and my tastes constantly change. Plus my decision would probably be clouded by worrying about what is the "correct" answer, even though I consciously know there is no incorrect one.

Oh wow, these are too easy!
1: Everything and anything EXCEPT anchovies! Anchovies are bait, not food.
2: Superman, definitely! Why half-do a concept? The quntessence of the american superhero comic character was, is, and always will be the brainchild of those two Depression-era jewish kids. :)
3: Jimi Hendrix "Are You Experienced" Every time I listen to this album I am swept away by it. EVERY single time.

1.) Chicken and bacon with white sauce.
2.) I'm not a fan of superhero comics in general, but if I had to pick one, Batman is more interesting because he's not really a superhero, he's a rich crazy person with a self-destructive hobby.
3.) That's a hard question. The Counting Crows' album August and Everything After was probably the most significant album to me in my formative years.

Double Pepperoni, Double Sausage, Double Mushrooms, Smoky Bacon, BBQ Sauce (don't like Pizza sauce) on Deep Pan.
Batman. Superman's too prefect as a character...
Iron Maiden's Killers or Bon Jovi's Slippery when Wet, but can't make a solid decision as I tend to like songs more than albums.

1) Pepperoni (I'm generic that way.)
2) I'm more of a Marvel Comics person than DC Universe, but if i had to pick i'd say Batman for the more believable human touch. Superan... his only weakness is a bunch of different colored radioactive rocks that came from his former home planet.
3) I honestly have no idea. if I had to choose one i guess it would be Vegus Album by The Crystal Method. Always into electronic based music.

Heh
1) It should be an "Aussie" - deep piles of ham, bacon and an egg. With mushrooms!
2) Batman - but only if he brings Harley with him! (glee!)
3) Monty Python's "Matching tie and handkerchief"! The dreaded 3 sided LP! (coplete with Mister Parslowe!)

1. One-third pepperoni and green pepper; one-third ham, pineapple, and tomato; one-third sausage, black olives, and onions.
2. Of the two, Batman. Though when written well, the Fantastic Four blow even him out of the water - they're not (just) superheroes, they're /adventurers/.
3. I waffled a bit, since I don't really listen to music in album form.... but the first one that came to mind was Holst's "The Planets".

1. What do you like on your pizza?
You can never go wrong with tomato sauche cheese and ham, its as lcassic as gets.
2. Batman or Superman?
Batman, dude, he's the dark frigging knight, his superpower is that he's batman. He is to me the very model of what a superhero should be, incorruptible, stylish and able to make really hard moral choices.
3. What do you consider the greatest music album of all time?
The future by Leonard Cohen, it includes many of the best songs from what I consider the best artist of all time. The production is dense and classy, but what really makes it shine in the songwriting. It's crammed with really powerful images and statements:
"I swear it happened just like this/a sigh a cry a hungry kiss",
"take the only tree that's left and stick it up the hole in your culture",
"I'm stubborn like those garbage bag, that time can not decay, im junk but I'm stil lholding up ,this little wild buqoet", "I cant run no more, with that lawless crowd, when the killers in high places say their prayers out loud, but they've summoned up a thunderclou"I didnt see he time, I waited all my life away"
and this is just my personal quotes that I can nk of the top of my head, it gives you an idea how memorable these songs are. Its just a really underrated album.

1. Meat and Fungus. "Nothing that photosynthesizes" is a pretty good answer, actually.
2. Superman. I don't buy the "Superman is too perfect" argument or the "Batman is more realistic" argument, possibly because I've actually read both Superman and Batman stories.
3. Bat Out of Hell, by Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf.

1. The local pizza chain has a pizza they call the "Full House" -- all meat toppings (pepperoni, sausage, ham, beef, & extra cheese)
2. Batman -- not my favorite, but there's something about his brooding, serious, driven personality that appeals to me (anti-heros appeal to me more)
3. Sorry, no single album is good enough. I like Weird Al, Jonathan Coulton, Monte Python, Homer & Jethro, and several other odds & ends.
I'm guessing your analysis will say I'm passionate about philosophy but don't care as much about music, and that I can be very decisive.
Not a surprise on any of that. I'm INTJ, if you know what that means. Am I right about what your prediction will be?

I'm going to stick up a post in a couple of days once everyone has had a chance to answer. I find the fact that your pizza answer is a local chain kind of fascinating though! first time I've gotten that kind of answer from the question.
Off the top of my head though I'd say that you consider yourself to be a realist but aren't overly obsessed with being serious, and consider laughter to be just as important. :)

1. Pepperoni, onion, and extra cheese
2. Never cared for superheroes, actually, I don't think I've ever seen any media (movies, TV shows, comic books, etc) featuring either one.
3. Probably "Operation Mindcrime" by Queensryche, though "of all time" is a pretty broad timeline

1. It needs to have at least one meat and one veggie. Oh, and it has to be on a thin, crispy crust; too much dough, and you can't taste the toppings.
2. Batman. He is just a person who with time and money created his legacy of instilling fear in criminals as revenge for his parents.
3. Hard to choose one particular album. I like a lot of music, but my most listened to genre would be classic rock.

1) BBQ Chicken, or theres this local take-away down the road that does one called Crazy Chicken (which is plain chicken, tandoori chicken and chinese chicken with BBQ sauce. It actually works.)
2)Batman. Superman is too far fetched (coming from a Marvel fan)
3)White Butterfly by INME

1) Pepperoni and extra cheese is my favorite. That said I'm not super picky as long as anchovies, pinapple, or jalepenos are not involved
2) Batman. Superman bores me,
3) Graceland by Paul Simon, followed closely and in no particular order by Wildflowers by Tom Petty, and The Answer Machine? By Skyclad. All three are albums where I love every song and have found it functionally impossible to get sick of, even after listening to them extensively.

1) What do I like on my pizza? Pepperoni. What can I -have- on my pizza? Cheese. (Food allergy. )
2) Batman, although Superman has gone rapidly up in my rankings lately. (I found the "Justice League" and "Superman" cartoons on Youtube.)
3) Tough choice, since most of the music I like is instrumental. Hmmm. Sorry, I don't have an answer for that one.

1. Most things, except for olives and mushrooms.
2. Batman, no question.
3. I don't listen to many albums, but I love "Cats", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Wicked", "Mamma Mia", "Disney", and "Glee". Also love Elton John and Phil Collins' songs.
The first half of my answer for number three is a list of Musicals.

Why not? I liked this comic when I read it; it'll be fun to answer these questions!
1) sliced salami, pineapple, lots of cheese, preferably mixes of Italian cheese and cheeses from other countries. Mind you, not all three of those on the same pizza, though! Either salami and cheese, or pineapple and cheese, or just salami, or just cheese
2) I never cared for all that superhero stuff. Therefore I have never read/watched any of it, and thusly canot answer this question as neither character interests me in the least
3) As I noticed many people having the same problem, I can't pick just one album! Aaaaah! There is just ib]way[/b] too much fantastic music, and my taste ranges from Abba to Zeppelin, Led, so don't make me choose, woman, don't make me chooooose!

1) Corn, extra cheese, plenty of tomato sauce, modest amounts of sausage, peppers, and anything else I might feel like at the time...
2) Batman, though I'd much rather vote for Optimus Prime instead...
3) Haven't found one I'd name for that title yet. Closest thing would be if I picked bits from my playlists and nominated *that*.

1. Supreme (Although this is tougher now that I've gone vegetarian ;_;)
2. Batemang - better villains and more well rounded character wise.
3. This one's tough. There are very few albums I can sit all the way through, though I'm gonna go with A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi. I listen to it all year round, especially when I'm drawing.

1. Pepperoni, Ham (Canadian Bacon I know, but I call it ham cause I've always called it ham.), and Black Olives...sometimes...
2. Batman. Does anyone really need an answer other than that one?
3. It's actually a bit of a toss up between Pink Floyd's The Wall, or Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

1. The mom and pop place near me does a wonderful flatbread which is topped with a blended mix of spinach, artichoke, and asiago, but that's a flatbread so I guess it doesn't count. My favorite pizza they make is their barbecue chicken pizza, which has sweet barbecue sauce, chicken breast, red onion, mozzarella, smoked gouda, and cilantro over their homemade tomato sauce. My favorite pizza to order from a chain would be bacon and pineapple with barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce from Domino's.
2. I was never a big fan of superheroes, and I would want to research them before answering. So I'm going to go without answering this one for now.
3. This is a really difficult question, because of the number of ways I could take it. Should I take it to mean what single album has influenced me the most, or what album seems to have influenced my favorite musicians the most? Since I listen to a wide variety of music, I'm not sure I could figure out a common inspiration to all of them. Personally, it's hard to say. Most bands I listen to have several strong releases that are hard to pick and choose from. I suppose if I had to choose just one, I would go with Hello Rockview by Less Than Jake. They are by far my favorite band, and Hello Rockview is one of the albums that got me interested in music as a teen, as well as inspired me to learn to play the bass guitar.

1) Pepperoni
2) Batman. I like Spiderman, but Batman's my favourite overall.
3) ....None as I can't hear, but if I have to pick one, it's Rolling Stones Gimmie Shelter. I played that most of time on Rock Band for some reason, and I know Rolling Stones from my mates. Ever since it's been my main song I guess.

1) Pepperoni, extra cheese, onions, Kielbasa, mushrooms.
2) Green Lantern, I'm partial to Kyle.. cause he proved any dorky art geek could woop Hal's ass. (Otherwise I'm not a DC fan... although superdickery.com is funny as hell.)
3) White Lion - The Greatest Hits (not my current favorites but the one that stuck with me the longest with the most songs I still like)

1] Deep Dish Meat Lovers
2] would have to be one of those going against da grain and say Spiderman. I mean I can kinda relate to him in so many ways except being bitten by a radio-active spider.. And through out all he's gone through he still tried to manage a normal life. He's not rich Billionare or or works for some gigantic corporate office. He's just a regular Joe making ends meet the best that he's able
3] Any album from the anime Cowboy Bebop. One of my personal faves being the album "Blue"
I'm one of those people you would say can't decide on anything. x3 But in reality, my tastes are just too varied. Though I'll try to answer this as best I can, without getting *too* Philosophical.
1) What do you like on your pizza?
Pepperoni, Black Olive, Mushroom, and BBQ Beef.
2) Do you like Batman or Superman better?
Hoo boy. Well, neither right now, actually. They've both changed so damn much over the years, that they're two completely different characters than what they used to be. Going by the basics of what they used to be, though? Hmm. They both have ups and downs to them, really. Batman is more of a realistic guy, and easier to get behind from a human stand-point. He uses his knowledge and skills to take down the bad guys, but is almost powerless without his gadgets. Sure he's a great martial artist, and a smart detective, but how many times would he have died by now if it weren't for his toys? Very rarely did I see a situation that, save for his martial skills, he would've died. It has happened before, but not that often. Though I do know that, even without his gadgets, he'd still be doing what he does no matter how dangerous it was, so I give him points for that.
Superman, however, is the iconic 'perfect' character. Incredibly strong, nearly invulnerable, several super powers, and neatly dressed. However, he's still humble about this. He has these gifts because he was born with them, and fills he has a responsibility to use them for mankind (as cliche as that sounds..). He still has that 'fresh eyes on the world' outlook going for him, so he gets points for that. Though he's still a little too perfect, which keeps him from being a great character and merely makes him a good one.
I prefer Spider-Man, actually. He's a guy I can get behind, with personal tragedy driving him, and a good sense of humor to ease difficult situations. And even though he has powers, they take a back-seat to his personal character. 'Who he is' has always been the driving point of his story lines, as with most of the characters Stan Lee has had a hand in, and that's why I like him.
3) What, in your opinion, is the greatest music album of all time?
I very rarely like entire albums. Usually there's a song or two that I don't like, that keeps me from liking the whole thing. Of all time, huh? Hmm.... That's actually a difficult question to answer, for other reasons besides the one mentioned above. What makes an album great? What makes it so memorable to you, and not to someone else? Those are hard questions to answer, and not something I can really go into here. It would take way too much space (as opposed to the 'short' answer I gave above. x3 ), as my music tastes range from ABBA to ZZ Top, from Aerosmith to Metallica. But recently, the only complete albums I've liked are from Nickelback. So I'll go with that. If you want the philosophical answer, feel free to hit me up on AIM or something. x3

If you want the philosophical answer, feel free to hit me up on AIM or something. x3
NOW JUDGE ME, WOMAN! }8<
1) What do you like on your pizza?
Chicken, green peppers, onions, and some sweet BBQ sauce mixed in with the normal pizza sauce.
2) Do you like Batman or Superman better?
The 'Batman' I know and grew up with did what was needed, however it had to be done, even if it was ten times harder due to respecting his own personal moral restrictions. He is, to me, more a Paladin than any Lawful Goody-two-shoes I've ever run across playing table-top D&D. Thus, Batman.
3) What, in your opinion, is the greatest music album of all time?
Night Castle by Trans-Siberian Orchestra where they cover so many of the old Savatage songs from before their original guitarist Criss Oliva was killed and the band transformed into TSO, mixed among new material outside of the Christmas-themed songs TSO has become known for.

Armchair psychology is fun. ^.^;
And while I'm at it...
1) Mushrooms.
2)Superman. He was one of the few superheros who went against the typical rundown... Most were born as a normal person and became the hero. Superman was born Superman. Clark Kent was his disguise...
3) Really?... You're gonna make me pick one? Honsetly?... Maaannnn... There's so much great music out there from all over the world, and from all points in time and you're gonna make me pick ONE album? *head a'splode*
