Skell Qwarrcall Ref Sheet
A reference sheet of one of my original 3 characters made from way back when I was still a teenager, if even that.
Admittedly, Skell was originally made to be a personification of the darker and more twisted side of myself. Some of the darkest thoughts of my mind, and the terrible actions I've done because of them and because of a lack of control over my emotions. All given flesh into a single body as a way to try and accept them as part of me. As something I can never just avoid and bury. Because they'll always be there.
I figured they wouldn't bother me as much if I actually gave them a name and a face. A name I could tell to shut up or better ignore whenever they appeared; and a mask I could wear to reliably vent aside those thoughts and frustrations so they're not just bottled up all the damn time.
Honestly might not have been the best thing to do in hindsight; but that's a rather difficult subject for me to think about... I do think it worked out mostly as intended in the long run, though...
Over time, Skell just ended up becoming part of my most regular trio of characters; one that I use pretty much ever time I get the chance. And despite what he's supposed to represent, I do still find a great deal of enjoyment in playing as him; as his rather cruel, cold, and sadistic nature turns out to be a rather surprisingly interesting and fun combination that lets me vent out so much stress and frustration, that I honestly do feel more relaxed and less burdened after using him for a while.

As for his in-character details, Skell is Ruga's brother, and is just as much of a sadistic bastard as he looks to be; lacking quite a bit in the way of empathy, and comes off as rather cold and aggressive towards the vast majority of people he meets.
He has control over magic that is both divine and demonic in nature, and doesn't hesitate in using either end of the spectrum to achieve whatever it is he may be scheming at that time; even if said thing is just causing pain to whoever is currently in front of him.
His wings are not inherently part of his body. Instead, they're best described as physical manifestations of his magic; able to be summoned or dismissed at will and without any pain. While dismissed, there is absolutely no evidence they were ever there to begin with, and waving your hand where they're supposed to be will give no feedback/resistance.
