Fluffy, as he appeared to Andy circa 2109.....
"Guardians of the wood are allowed a companion, so I, um, volunteered... if you'll have me."
Andy could only smile and embrace Fluffy again. "Okay," he agreed.
"Now," Fluffy began, "I hope you're not going to go into that rot about 'You're too sacred,' this and 'I'm not worthy,' that. It really gets to be a bore."
It had been over seventy years since Andy had last been with Fluffy. Since then his mind had aged considerably. He understood a great deal more, though some things were still out of his grasp. But on this, he had learned--both his place and his role.
"No," he shook his head, smiling.
"Right, then," Fluffy perked up.
"And... these?" Andy asked, noticing a pair of spurs half-wedged under the side of Fluffy's saddle. They hung awkwardly, as if hurriedly added at the last moment.
"They're for you," Fluffy said very casually. Again, Andy had learned long ago not to argue with the rabbit....
Yeah, just f'ing around with old art. That seems to be all I'm good for lately, but I really liked the picture I drew of Fluffy for my On Patrol picture and felt it stood up well on its own.
This picture has actually been sitting around since the end of April while I was waiting for the person who did the background (who it now looks like hasn't been active since 2007) to give me permission to post this. So... I got tired of waiting. If they tell me to take this down I will, but until then...

At first I thought he was a wild rabbit and Andy was going to have a surprise when he gets in the saddle.
I do like the background for this pose. Fluffy looks very natural in this setting.
And if you need inspiration, I'm sure those of us that know your likes and style all can throw out some ideas until one strikes your fancy.
