For years now ive been wanting to build a new desk since the old corner desk ive been using since 2008 is falling apart now and it's tiny. So after watching a lot of setup wars and stuff I thought it would be time to get on that. I was originally going to get a desk from ikea but their prices were outrageous! Like the desk I wanted from ikea cost twice as much as this project has.
The wood I used here is a birch butcher block countertop that I had to cut 4 inches off one of the sides to fit in this spot. And the legs I found on eBay for pretty cheap. I do need to lower them though. the wood will be sanded, stained, and have nice finish on it!
But yeah super glad to finally have this going. Plus wood working is pretty fun! X3
