Being involved with deer rescue, raising these little orphans can be a project in itself.

Friday. June 25, 2021 we received a call to see if we had room to take a fawn doe who’s mother along wasn’t so lucky along a highway way that wasn’t so far away. The deer population in that area is real bad and at times I have counted over 100 of them grazing in the near by field.

We decided to name this little one Maple, since our first Whitetail rescue was named Willow. So we thought we name them after Trees. Little maple is doing great, and had a different disposition from Willow.
