Star Wars is bigger than most folks think. We just focus on the human side of things for obvious reasons.

Starwars Battlefront 3 the Furry wars lol. would be kind of neat to see a playable species like her.

To the general public:
So... I'm not sure if any of the Star Wars Visions characters are going to be canon to the setting.
Anime creators/directors/studios were asked to give their own takes on Star Wars, and seemed to be given the freedom to create whatever they wanted, as inspired by Star Wars.
So, whether Lop is going to be a canon character, let alone her species, it's up in the air until we find out more. I'm inclined to say she won't be, but you never know.
