The pose itself is very joyful; i want to start off by saying you did a good job with that and she you have a good view of putting emotion into your characters. However, the stance she's in looks like she would fall at any moment. Might I ask how you draw your characters? Do you use a skeletal start or do you just draw from head to toe.

I tend to draw the head and face then put a bit of frame-work under for the body. It doesn't work all the time but I feel like sometimes if I don't get the face down straight away I'll lose it...

That's understandable, however I will say I find that people who do one piece at a time get themselves into trouble; making one part look strongly detailed while the other looks rushed or incorrect. Try to draw the entire figure in a skeletal form first (making the head an oval) and work from there, this makes your image looks much more complete since everything is worked on evenly ;)

Also, just a protip - your drawings seem to be light, might I recommend recoloring them over to make sure the lines are dark enough to be taken in by your scanner?

I don't have a scanner so I make do with a camera for now, even so making the lines darker probably would be good
