Dragonball OCs absolutely do count and if you want you can have them with canonical DBZ characters! You can of course have OCs/sonas that have nothing to do w/ DBZ hanging out with a DB character. However if you're still unsure please see the dragonball fanart section of my gallery which should provide some examples. Thank you for your interest in my work!
