While technically controls the Paktum and all it's assets; they play almost purely of a ceremonial rule, representing all Odraani people, with the actual ruling done through the parliament.
Odraani with four arms - 'sáthi' - are rare, with only a few species having this trait, all hailing from a remote location on Setten. The Golden Sáthi - their species - have long lifespans and thus, are known for being considerate, and well-tempered. These traits help them to gain and hold important religious or cultural roles, but many master craftsmen and artists are seen among them.
The Emperor's dresses use materials from all over the Paktum, fabrics, alloys, gems from many different regions; unifying into one outfit that resembles the Odraani Paktum as a whole.
For the suggestion thread! It was high time to draw them!! ;w; I had an ABSOLUTE BLAST with drawing their clothes n deets; has a LOT of Mongolian influences; which actually fits my headcanon for the art pretty well! ^^

Now that I read the description about the clothes, and how it is a symbol of unification, I wonder (and I hope not to be offensive): is their non-binary a personal thing or a ceremonial thing, like putting all genders on the same level in a further symbol of equality?

aaa thank you! <3 I went with Mongolian vibes the most, as oddly enough the standard uniforms have kinda resembled some aspects of em!
aa basically the title of emperor is considered to be above the concepts of gender - though Odraani traditionally considered both genders equal - , so they always treated its holder as non-binary.

Love the world-building details you included in the post. I would have assumed this was for a whole other setting, rather than an Odraani emperor! O: It's cool that four-armed people exist naturally [albeit rarely], in that world, too. :>

They look like they would be an absolute delight to converse with over tea and a cream-cheese slathered fresh everything bagel. Toast the bagel a bit, spread the cream cheese, sprinkle more everything shake over the cheese.. yeah. A wonderful conversing time. And I made myself hungry.
