Katherine is slowly getting herself a base story.
|| The siren song ||
As I take a sip of my coffee the bell of the door rings. I’m sitting at a table in the corner of a very high class coffee shop. I look at the door. A man walking in, casually ordering a Lungo coffee with a cinnamon bun. As he takes seat on an empty table he patiently waits for his coffee to get served. He has long white hair, tied in a messy bun. Black and white fur and heart shaped tattoo under his right eye and on his finger. He wears a real black Hugo Boss suit with a red tie. I have never seen this man before. I look at him, trying not to look obvious. He would be a perfect victim, he somewhat looks depressed maybe even irritated. I can’t tell but I definitely can feel something is up in his mind, something is bothering him. His coffee arrives and he grabs a newspaper, smoothly puts on his glasses and starts reading. The waiter takes away my empty cup of coffee and politely asks me if I want a refill. I nod and grab my phone, to cover up my staring session. Without anyone noticing I sing him the siren song. A song, that makes him think of me, makes him dream about me and makes him want me. But he does not know who he sees, or who he is dreaming about. He only sees a black silhouette in his mind. I notice him getting a little uncomfortable, not knowing where the sound or the thoughts come from. ‘’What is your name, handsome boy.’’ I say in his thoughts. ‘’Donnie.’’ He replies, quickly realizing he talked to his newspaper he puts it down and quickly peeks around if anyone heard him. His eyes crosses mine but he does not notice me. It worked, he fell for the siren song. Now I’ve seen his face, know his scent and heard his voice he will be easier for me to track down. Tonight. Tonight, I will lure him to my cave. I stand up, placing the money on my table and walk away. As I pass the man I quietly take a sniff in the air, consuming his scent. Confident I make my way out, towards my home.
