"Can you roll forward on it? Brace up on your arms... look at the camera... smile!"

Another whir of clicks stuttered out of the camera. Cyra wondered who recommended her to this photographer, but the cash was quick and she got to pose around in a swimsuit, and surprisingly now she was rolling around on a beach ball.

She kicked her legs up between bursts of shutter clicks, the cameraman calling out his approval as she did. She hoped he'd need another model again as this was surprisingly fun.




So much to my surprise  Foxenawolf enjoyed this not just because this had a cat in it, and she enjoys drawing cats; but this was apparently a challenging pose to do. I do like knowing that an artist enjoys their work because while there is the business aspect to getting a commission, I want an artist to enjoy what they're doing for whatever reason. When I get something from Frazzle, he enjoys balloons and mean girls; the second piece in the two part I got from Entropy was almost entirely because she wanted something underwater and it fit. I will always say that work is only a means to an end, but if you can enjoy your work too, you really should try to. An artist can't help that sometimes because other people like their style and want to put their ideas into that style. Having done art for myself and for others, even when it stays close to the same vein that you work in, you can feel a difference in intrest for the piece. All of that is to say I'm happy that I can make her a little happier in her work, while getting a fix of my 'thing.'
