After spending way too long to get the work done myself, the ever so lovely
Velannal helped me out with this amazing reference sheet for my red dragon Taslin!
At the time it was made I still hadn't named him properly (hence the name in the top right), but now after spending time actively picking out a name for him, I finally landed on Taslin. The most noticeable feature of his design oughta be that bright blue horn on his head. The idea spawned in my head after seeing some birds with large protrusions on their beaks, to which I tried to adapt a similar feature into Taslin's head. It's a feature that's supposed to attract females of his species, and works as a health indicator on top of that. If the specimen is healthy, the horn will be a bright blue, slightly translucent color which shows appeal to a female. However if the specimen is sick or not ingesting the right minerals, the horn will take on a more dark blue color and lose all translucentness it had, which wouldn't appeal to a female.
You'll hopefully see much more of Taslin going forward!
