I miss Kaskade's earlier work, honestly. This new progressive (or whatever) house style that's taken over is good, but I just miss that jazz, soul, disco, et al. inspired style he used to have. You don't hear much of that anymore, unfortunately. I can hear some of Kaskade's old style shine through with the chord progression of the main synth, but it just ain't the same. :/ The change seems to have come about because he left Om Records and switched to Ultra. At least the new label has had him working a lot with Deadmau5. :3 One of my favorite "old" Kaskade songs is Steppin' Out (link), if you're interested. It's more upbeat, as well! X3
As for the art...well, it's quite pretty. The eyes are a smidgen too big for me, but otherwise I'm loving your style as much as ever. And I love that expression. I wish I could sit in that pose without making my legs go numb. <.<
