This was done up for
Hovard, since he has a thing for Indian subcontinent characters.
I decided to sketch up the Indian legend, Arjun from the Indian epic 'Mahabharata', who is a warrior prince. Plus an epic archer, noted for his intense accuracy with a bow.
Plus gives me the excuse to draw up the Indian breed of horse known as a Marwari, noted for their curved , pointed ears.

I shoot either a 55-65 pound compound Polaris, or a 45 pound Martin recurve that is one of the smoothest bows I have used. I'm a lefty and both shoot off the right side.
The Compound is all the toys, sights, stabilizer, trigger the works. The recurve is shot off the shelf with nothing. AKA the Humbler. I prefer the full finger Damascus glove.

There are a lot of historical bows that draw on the outside; Mongol bows did, for example.
My niggle with the bow is that it looks more as if it's either at rest or not strung -- the arms get pulled back significantlywwhen drawn -- https://i.redd.it/dji5u4rr7b861.jpg
