Rhyn Throkani - Jungle Walk [AF21]
First one down this month. I had hoped the event would be extended like last year but it looks like that's not the case this year(?).
My exams are really slowing me down I'm afraid, but I am very happy that I can finally put my studywork to good use here.
This one was a ton of fun and the next one is already in the making. Just gimme, gimme, gimme more time!

Haven't been looking for a wendigo character on ArtFight, I'm kinda working down last year's bookmarks >v>
Though I have started to do a monster list for October that might be worth working out and I did include a wendigo there.
So if everything's working out, then I'll draw another one then.

I really love how you shaded the gold jewelry and crown it looks really nice, that and all the foliage too. Speaking of foliage I love how it fades with the background, gives it a nice sense of depth. Only thing I would recommend for this is I feel the arms are a bit to thin for the body. But yeah this is quite cool! ^^
Oh yes, I got inspired by a reference image that I have painted last month, you can spot it in my speedpainting collection.
The haze in the jungle and the tonal shift to a saturated yellow is such a lovely way to fill the background and elevate the figure in the foreground :3
