Some local guys were setting off fireworks last night, even though the appropriate holiday was now a week behind us. It was really upsetting the local pets. I asked them to stop, but they just laughed. Soon their laughs turned to barks. Maybe this will teach them some empathy. Plus, It'll be hard to light another incendiary without opposable thumbs.
