I used to feel very hurt when people used derogatory terms towards me, ten years ago when I was 18. but I’ve learned it says a lot more about them than it does about me, when people say hurtful things. And I have a much stronger and healthier outlook on life now so I’m not bothered by what others think. I’m proud of that! I worked a long time on myself to become happy with being myself. Others judgement and choice of words to use against others really isn’t a reflection of me. It is a reflection of the one lashing out in anger.
