You can't quite put together the pieces when you think back on it, but you agreed on a date with this polite stranger who seemed to take great interest in knowing you more. They are odd, what with their ever listless eyes and capricious personality--you can't really pin their disposition down. And there they are now, slowly climbing down the stairs with glazed over eyes and a vacant smile betraying little of their thoughts, a bouquet of notably odd shaped flowers tucked underneath an arm--They even dressed for the outing too, how romantic you might have thought. Then their gaze meets yours, and that sleepy smile grows all the bigger, they pluck a flower from the bunch and offer it to you. It meets your gaze with it's own before you take it in hand. It's going to be a night you won't soon forget.
