Meet Gilda the Griffon! In truth, I've made 2 crocheted plushies of her in the past, but I really wanted to try out Choly Knight's laying griffon pattern. She came out quite nice! Gilda's fabric was cut before I went to Vegas and her head, face, and toes were constructed on vacation. I couldn't take a sewing machine with me, so she is completely hand-sewn. I really like the way she came out, though I made my own pattern for the wings. There are definitely too big, for a baby griffon, but she still looks cute! She is missing her head feathers, as I forgot to order lavender minky, I guess she isn't quite finished yet. I'll be sure to complete her when I get that color.
