Done as lighting practice and trying to figure out how grass works.
Also, I tried out tinting the colors on the outline/lineart so hopefully that looks good.
I might try coloring the lines again, but it seems to only help with specific lighting

I don't remember if i ever commented on this one specifically, but I think i'm gonna say that it's my favorite piece of Aerin so far. I love the mood... the colors. The lighting is bright, but it feels very soft and calming. Like the small opening of a forest canopy where the sunlight is just breaking through? I love that feeling. It really is peaceful. And he doesn't have his sword or coat... just himself taking a rest. It really relaxes me to look at this one
Pieces with Aerin in it tend to be....more emotionally charged. I was trying to do something a bit more calm. A calm in the eye of the storm, a moment where nothing but rest. Just soft light and soft grass. I'm glad it has the intended relaxing effect, I too go back to this one sometimes when I wanna cool off my brain after a hard day.
