Just to let you know:
I didn't paint this, I just took the photo!
I was on my holiday mountain trip and I was passing by through a small village. It was nothing special about it - except for one building that drew my attention. It was a fire brigade's building with an extraordinary wall painting on it's front. So I stopped by and took the photo so I could share it when I'm back. This was a really tiny mountain village, like 10 or 15 houses along the road, so I was very surprised to find something like this there.
I think it's great, whoever painted it!
The text over the wolf is actually a poem and it goes like this:
Don't let any ideas come to your mind
that could cause a spark lit in the barn

I actually do not like this for two reasons. The first being the strange angry or whatever look of the fox
and the second being the poem... of course maybe I am misunderstanding the meaning... well, it is nicely drawn at least, a very nice photo.
I suppose it's not meant to be overly symbolic, after all, it was painted on a fire brigade's house, so it is appropriate...
I guess I can be happy that furres are even in such remote areas ^^ again thanks for posting this awesome photo Marv.

The character with a burning match is a wolf. And wolves had always been pictured as evil characters in many cultures, especially European. Like in the story of little red riding hood.
Bears for some reason are not that evil. Thus - wolf is the one that set a fire, while a bear will fight it and put it down.
I doubt if the person who drew this picture was a furry... But it was a nice finding for me back then anyway :)
And the poem... I did a very simple translation, it has more 'charm' in the original version.
