The sounds of bare feet slapping against cool stone tile echoed quietly against the temple walls for a few seconds before being joined by a pair of boots. The last vestiges of light shone in from outside, illuminating a pair of tired werewolves, looking from side to side as they wandered through its halls.
“Last temple,” said Wolfgirl, bow and arrow ready in her hands, “assuming the civilians even saw this mythical creature that we've seen zero traces of.”
“They sure seemed convinced that they saw it,” responded Razira, as she briefly turned around to look at her ally. “We'll see.”
The pair progressed further inside for a few minutes before Wolfgirl came to a stop and fully drew her bow back. “Raz?” she muttered. “We're not alone.”
As the white wolfess readied herself for anything, causing one hand to burst into flames, while the other chilled the air around it, creating ice crystals in her palm, her ears perked up and strained to listen to any sounds around them. It wasn't long before she picked up what sounded like something dripping to the ground behind her.
As she spun around and looked up, she was faced with the monstrosity that she never expected to see even in her wildest dreams...

A massive thanks to
Evangellos for this stunning digital picture, of Razira and Wolfgirl about to face a monstrosity out of their nightmares! Everything looks so colorful and detailed, and the lighting effects upon each other cause the picture to leap off of the proverbial page like the best of comic books would! Such an awesome picture all around.
Come to think of it, I'd practically kill to have a full comic drawn like this of some kind of crazy adventure for the duo. I can't even begin to think of the cost of something like that, either.
Thank you yet again to the artist! You're wonderful to work with and you do amazing work!
