Many found it hard to fathom when the great King Mohatu finally took his place among the stars. His daughter Uru had been known for her seemingly contradictory personality: her stoicism and withdrawn, quiet tendencies juxtaposed by her fierce temper and sharp tongue. Her mate, Ahadi, was known for being a sunshiny goof who'd literally no preparation to rule a kingdom before being mentored by the late King in his final years. And yet, in spite of all the odds, the two of them proved a match made in heaven when it came to ruling the Pride Lands.

They completed one another in key ways. Uru's quiet, contemplative personality gave her an uncanny ability to observe and assess a situation, whereas Ahadi's warmth and empathy gave him an unrivalled talent towards diplomacy and building reconciliation. They were the Pride Lands' Moon and Sun. A Queen and a King who'd guide the Pride Lands through many a crisis, from the Second Great Drought to a full blown war of defence against an invading empire.
