Felt like I was losing my touch for the slavish Walt Kelly imitation so I went back to Ten Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Years With Pogo. Here's a bit of a panel from the 1st of November, 1950 installment of Walt Kelly's masterpiece, as Albert attempts to pitch some woo. None of this is traced directly from the original, although I did eyeball it to copy. So I'm feeling better about my ability to put shapes together that it came out like this.

Someday I will have to do a study sheet of nothing but straw boaters because I'm not getting something about them. Albert's lips look weird in the original too, don't blame me.
