I haven't uploaded in a while...mostly because I haven't really done anything super artsy in a while, but I was actually really proud of this, so I figured I'd put it up here!
I recently got into Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: All-Star Carnival, which is the (much better) arcade version of the 3DS game. I got REALLY obsessed with it since they had it in a local import arcade near me, but when the arcade went under last year, I looked into a way to get it running on my PC. One thing lead to another, and I ended up modding the game with some quality of life fixes, which eventually lead to me figuring out how to texture mod. While its not something that's all too useful at the end of the day, I didn't want to put the work to waste, so I made a custom skin of myself! Everything is puppet-based, so it was effectively just a texture mod that replaced the individual parts, and the game engine took care of the rest. The skin goes over Y'shtola Rhul, so things like the tail and ears have some animation built into them that really pulls it all together.
You can find a video of the mod in motion here (the video is somewhat outdated, but it shows off the skin itself just fine): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1lYgcJ7OOg
