Dan/The Were-Aykroyd: One of the new Dead by Daylight killers, basically he is a Were-Aykroyd who serves as the dark alter-ego of Nathan/The Scientist. The important thing to know about Nathan and Dan/The Were-Aykroyd is that Nathan/The Scientist normally won't go after survivors, the Were-Aykroyd on the other hand usually does, but only because he wants to 'protect' his other-half, it is worth mentioning that Nathan will act skittish or shy or nervous whenever he is required to do anything at night, this is because he knows it's dark out and his Were-Aykroyd side will most likely emerge, as opposed to most were-scenarios in typical depictions in which it's a full moon, he will turn into Dan at night regardless and when it's dark in general but lunar phases do tend to make the Were-Aykroyd's influence stronger, although sometimes he may be urged to transform in daytime scenarios without warning, basically he doesn't morph unless it's one of the afforementioned things, he'll have conversations with 'Dan' in the mirror which can lead to him transforming into him, as Dan he uses his ability to manipulate dreams to give survivors and victims dreams of trying to find him and trying to figure out his plans, only for him to manipulate them further, eventually making it so they want to be with him, more than just...but become like him, thus when they wake up they will start to hear his voice in their minds, as it begins to condition them and entrance them. In these dreams he may appear as a number of different Dan Aykroyd characters, he always comes across as being very friendly with this, but he always waits until dark to show up, mainly because Nathan transforms into him at night in general or whenever it gets dark in general, sometimes though there are cases in which 'Dan' will surface in him without warning.
Nathan willl often have dreams/visions of becoming him and the dreams will often be odd and Lynchian in nature and will sometimes take place in a red room which is made to emulate the black lodge. His backstory is that Nathan/The Scientist was hired as the 'monster/killer' maker, who would create or send various monsters of his own creation out for the survivors to fight but it wasn't until last year when he began to develop his own persona, he developed this persona as a charismatic alter-ego known as the 'Were-Aykroyd' or 'Dan' as he was often called and dreamed of bringing the persona to life, but those dreams were courtesy of the persona himself who was already planning to do so. Which came to fruition once Nathan came into possession of shaped like a crystalized skull, feeling curious about what the ring, he put in on his finger and wondered what it could do, the ring transferred a powerful dark aura into him which began to tangle with his own aura and caused 'Dan' to possess and take over him, thus turning him into him in a gradual process with each and every night, he attempted to resist or even hide the changes from the others since the survivors viewed Nathan as a helper and companion who coud provide assistance during the Aykroydian attacks, since he seemed to know a great deal on the subjects, even pinpointing the origin. But during most night-time missions, Nathan seemed to be absent or just hide himself because he feared that now that 'Dan' had possessed him, he would turn into that 'Were-Aykroyd' alter-ego, as he had been doing for the past several nights since discovering how Dan's powers and the ring's power brought that side of him out.
He stands at around 6'1, bulky/burly with dark brown hairs on his chest, hands, stomach and his arms...is very much a supernaturally powered Dan Aykroyd, sometimes sports wavier hair than normal or longer fingernails (not exactly claws, but they were an artistic choice of his and are quite useful in battle). He is what some people would call 'dummy thicc'. He is calculating and crafty and knows the rules of horror movies and how to bend them, he's highly intelligent and knows how stupid typical horror movie victims tend to be, and he knows how to take advantage of that, but he is shown to be protective of Nathan. He has one of two costumes. The first costume is as he appears appears as how Nathan looks in his regular outfit, except the shirt or top part of his attire may be a little bit torn or sometimes his clothing reflects the Aykroyd character he assumes the form of in dreams. The second outfit is a blue denim outfit and in this outfit he sports longer hair and longer fingernails, the outfit is a Western outfit and made to resemble the character Bob from Twin Peaks.
He has the power to manipulate dreams and can also turn others into Were-Aykroyds in numerous ways including turning other survivors and also is inhumanly strong.
