I decided to actually enter ArtFight his year. Team Steampunk is my team this year.

On why the pixe look, I was experimenting with doing entries in a pixel style, not only getting practise in the form but also standing out from the others in my way.
I actually intended to have all of my characters in thi style, but getting my own character looking right, especially wi the OHRRPGCE restrictions of overworld characters (20×20 pixels with a 16-colour palette) was very difficult.
I might return to pixel art later during the current ArtFight, but, right now, I feel that I would be tter off doing th entries in Colors! 3DS.
