Um... Normally I don't have the whole "omg CUTE!!!" response, but this got it. This so got it. For that matter, so did most of the other photos of Raven that you've posted. That is one seriously adorable puppy you have there. If he's as handsome when he's grown as is he is adorable now, that's going to be one handsome Malamute. As it is, though, I really just want to hug him and play with him, even if I would have to dose up on allergy medication before doing so.
By the way, I can't help but note that at 2.5 months old he takes up a whole couch cushion and is probably larger than the Welsh Corgi that I had as a kid ever managed to get. That pup must be a handful when he gets frisky!

Ah, that explains a lot. There's some good heritage behind that cute little face. Or...not so little. At the rate he's growing, your niece may mistake him for a pony before much longer!
Say... Given his potential, do you have "professional" ambitions for him (you know, like being a show dog or a sled dog), or is he going to be a prized pet? I know the two aren't mutually exclusive, but I'm curious.

Ah, so you're still in school! Yeah, I can see how that would complicate a demanding hobby like attending dog shows. Honestly, I'm pleased to hear that he's going to be mostly a pet. I have some relatives that take their dogs to shows, and while theirs seem happy enough, I'd imagine the lifestyle is just as demanding for the dogs as it is for the owners.
