This is another one of those customs where I made a version of it back in 2005 (my first line of customs), but I'm so sick of looking at the old poorly done n00bish craftsmanship that I just had to make a newer version.....actually, not long after I completed my first version, I found myself thinking that Shiva would have looked far better in a Sister pose.
-How she was made-
Re-haired with Forget-me-not, Water nixie, and Mermaid pony hair.
Her body color is cadet blue with a layer of acrylic pearlizing medium over top, her eyes are various shades of blue with neon and metallic blues included, and her ice details are carefully layered acrylics in hues of white, metallic blue, and silver.
Her sash: I took ribbon and tried dying sections of it with blue and yellow Rit Dye, but the sash came out almost orange and navy blue....which just wouldn't do! (I didn't even leave the ribbon in for very long...) So I got out some old skirts of mine and carefully came up with some funky layering....and coming up with various ways to cut/layer the ribbons on her front legs was fun and slightly challenging as well.
