Figuring this cat out has been driving me crazy for a very long time. I don't think it's a shock to say that drawing anything other than canines comes hard to me, and for ages I've worked on iterating felines. It finally feels like I'm starting to get close, and doubly reassuring that what little I know about anatomy and body construction seems to be translating across. Madi, Shem, and Zoe are going to be the centerpiece on the next pic I toss up. It's annoying but I have to put in the time to know them all inside and out before I can tackle what I actually want to get started- so far, so good I hope!
I promise to get back to doing some more coloured things soon but I gotta pay the sketch tax before diving back into what's more familiar to me XD.
Will update this post as this guy develops further. Drawn in Clipstudio.

to each their own. :) but I must say it looks pretty good already. it's good to see someone paying attention to anatomical differences and details, before a hyena looks like a wolf with rounded ears. XD
funky pose, btw. very stylized. niot as awkward as what Benetton used to hang up the billboards a couple years ago... some of those poses looked painful.
