Have you ever had those moments where you don't want to be rude to a person's drawing skills based on their age? Like you assumed this was done by a young kid but learned it is from an adult. No offense, but i tend to encounter these kinds of artists often and teenager me would have lectured them into giving up.

i deal with this a lot on artfight. get attacks that look like a 12 year old did it on ms paint with a mouse, then find out it's a grown-ass man with a tablet and costly software like clipstudio and i can only do so much to hide my bafflement. i don't ever want to discourage people from trying, practicing, and growing, but i also am not the kind of person to pretend to be happy or impressed when handed trash. (especially when it's a trade setup and i'm expected to give them something in return, and even my lowest effort is worth good money compared to what they gave me)
