Another digital painting of a Charmander I done today, taken me about little over 2 hours I think. There was a lot of trial and error in this one but time wise I think that's an improvement for me. The drawing was inspired by the old 1st Gen. Pokemon concept/design of a Charmander by Ken Sugimori. That's why it looks a little different.
If anyone is interested I made a youtube video showing how I coloured it, sadly it's a 15 minute video so it's a bit of a sit through.

I approve the style you used x3, looks neat, like what one would hang up on a wall of their house |3, stylish.
I specially liked the eyes, nice touch of lights there, specially the small reflection of the fire's light on his right eye x3
The only thing that like teases me, are the proportions on his body l3;;; they look kinda like some dinosaurs do, despite him being a lizard, I still prefer a less back arching down as an animal charmander x3, but that must be a part of the style you mention on the description x3;;;
