Hey... I recognize this! Neefa Feefa was the absolute bomb dot com. My family rented that Dr. Seuss video while we were staying at a hotel in the big city back in '99. I was both weirded out by and in love with Neefa Feefa at the same time. Those eyeball dances always got to me.
A criminally underrated character. I never thought there would be someone else out there who would remember that one strange and trippy Dr. Seuss carton with the magical piano and the dancing girl with the purple outfit. Such bold, brilliant colors remind me of a much simpler and far better time, at least for me when I look at it through my nostalgia goggles anyways.
For the longest time I thought it was a fever dream, just like that "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Christmas Special" which turned out to be an animated adaptation of L. Frank Baum's The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, not the Rankin-Bass stop motion one, but the much more recent one which I think I might've seen on either Teletoon, YTV, or the Family Channel once. My memory claims that it was back in 1999, although many sources said it was released in the year 2000.
