Wax cylinder? THAT'S IT!! Instead of that awful synthesized voice that sounds like a hundred metal cicadas buzzing in chorus, we shall make a phonograph recording of a sweet-voiced opera singer saying a thousand words. Then we need only devise a means of selecting the proper word and placing the needle at the corresponding groove on the cylinder. It's bound to be less complicated and take up less space than that multi-gear vocal system that madman Frett came up with, and it will sound infinitely better! Probably be cheaper to boot! I want to see a schematic on my desk by next Friday, Moore!
