Synchrockers
So, I found out thanks to the Shimo Hisae that there's a pretty cool DJ unit(?) called Lolistyle Gabbers (and that such a music genre exists) and one of the songs after digging through YouTube is a tribute track to SB69A and Plasmagica's "Ryusei Dreamline". God that hit me HARD. I am that weird minority that LOVES J-Core (speedcore and gabba-core with a heavy essence of anime and pop culture audio sampling) so much since the 2000s teenager growing up with mid-2000s Bemani (especially DDR) and listening to LOTS of DJ Sharpnel! I never knew that such "genre style" is still exist...
Anyway. I also RP as Reppanyo and I kind of made her into some "Oneesan DJ" in headcanon, and teenage brain me wants to bring back these goofy "save the world" stories with musical themes, especially of that speed level to speed-gabba-style J-Core!
I also NEED a good excuse to try the calligraphy paper... And "chibi" and of a bigger scale does not work for me. I still prefer (oddly) to draw my comfort characters as kemono, so that's staying for a while...
I may or may not sell this as a one-of-a-kind compact illustration.
